4 cups unsweetened cereal

1 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)

1 cup maple syrup, honey or date syrup

Freeze-dried strawberries
Preparation

In a large bowl, stir together the cereal and protein powder. Set aside.

In a separate, microwave-safe bowl, combine the nut butter and sweetener of choice. Microwave 30-45 seconds, and stir to combine. Pour into the cereal mixture and mix well.

Transfer to a 6-inch by 9-inch (or similarly sized) glass dish lined with parchment paper. Press down in an even layer.

Sprinkle the top with freeze-dried strawberries, and press down gently. Freeze for 30 minutes to set, then remove from freezer and slice into bars.
